First Post

This is my first post on my blog! Tomorrow I will be starting my 3rd week of university, and my 2nd week of lectures/seminars. So far I really love it here, and have met some really nice people. On my Multimedia course we have done fun things so far, whereas my friends seem to be getting really stressed and bored with just going to lecture after lecture.

We started off by having an induction where we made an animation using a whiteboard, a black marker and a camera. You had to get the box from one side of the arrow shape to the other. I had never done anything like this before and so I really enjoyed it. The next day we made pinhole cameras out of beer cans. I really like photography and so found this really interesting!

I had my first seminar the other day and we had to make more animations but this time it was called pixilation and it uses people rather than drawings. So we went off into groups and took lots of photos of us moving around and ended up with some interesting stuff! I really like how my groups animation turned out. It got me really interested in it so I started looking at ones that other people have made on youtube and I found this one that I thought was funny and I like the way they look like they are floating around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtCBNlCtlcY.

So yeah I've really enjoy the past 2 weeks and hope it continues this way!
