Here is one of the frames from my groups first pixilation that we made. I edited the photographs by desaturating them slightly, then giving them a blue tint so it looked cold and a bit a spooky. Then I wanted to make it look old so I put a small grain on it. I think it has turned out how I wanted. In my last session I uploaded my edited photographs onto premier. This meant we could put all the photos together and make a animation. I added a title and ending and made the text fade in and out. I also was able to copy frames and add them in again, making them play faster or slower than previous frames which gives the animation a rhythm. I am currently deciding what sort of music to have with the animation. I would like something quite creepy but haven't found anything that is just right yet.
My group took more photographs for a different pixilation after we had been to the graveyard.

I think it does have a comical value to it though because of the facial expressions people pull. Some people tend to pull funny faces when there is a camera around out of embarrassment for example and so a few amusing photos were taken.
I also thought it was good because some of the areas where we put the bin were quite pretty which is the opposite of the bin and its purpose which I liked. It was pretty disgusting being in a bin though!
I then edited the photos to make them look like this.
I made it have more of a contrast and brightened the colours. I think it made it look better and more clear. In some photos it also gave it a cartoon like affect.
