With this essay we have to use 50 images to describe why we are choosing to do either moving image, interactive media, or virtual environments next year. I'm struggling with it at the moment as I am not entirely sure whether I want to do interactive media or virtual environments.. I would to be able to be an animator in the future and so I'm swinging towards v.e but then my interactive narrative from last term was really liked and so I don't know if I would be better suited for that.. :S I think I'm starting i.m next week so hopefully that will help me decide before the essay has to be handed in! Right now because I am more interested in animation I've been researching animators, and companies like Pixar and Disney Dreamworks. I grew up with the old disney films and I would love to be able to make things like that, and even do proper 3D films like UP.. I just don't know if I would enjoy doing the course though.. I'm liking what we are doing at the moment, I think that it is a lot of hard work and takes a lot of time and that may be making me worry about it.. But from talking about it now I think I would prefer to do it as it seems to interest me more.. especially because I haven't begun looking at flash or web practitioners.
I'm not sure how I am going to make my visual essay either.. we haven't been shown any examples of them at all so I have no idea where to even start..
