- The first is a painting of a tiger I did for my boyfriend's birthday present nearly two years ago now.
- This is a portrait of my brother which was for his 21st birthday. Still need to finish it lol I keep changing parts everytime I come home.
- This is a charcoal drawing I did on my foundation course when we had life drawing lessons.
- The next is some prints I did for a project in my foundation where we could do whatever we wanted for the title 'Black to White'. I etched the drawings into some plastic and then added paint and put it through a printing press with some nice paper. It is meant to be a little drawing of a scene going from night to day.
- This is what I made for my A level exam piece. I made it with chicken wire and then covered it in modroc.. then painted it. It was all joined together but then someone moved uncarefully and broke it!
- This is a final piece I did which was based around a project I did on body image. They are areas of the body which people don't tend to like about themselves... I painted it on a large piece of perspex as I had been doing this throughout my project.
- This was from the same project.. it is meant to be me from a not particularly nice angle.
- This is me again looking like I am squashed up against glass.. This was imitating an artist I was looking at.
- Just a self portrait I did at the start of A level we were told to do over the summer before the start of term..
- This was my exam piece in GCSE I had been looking at time and salvador dali and things like that. Probably one of my first proper paintings I was proud of and my teacher put it into a competition :)

Some of my work before uni
In our context seminars we are talking about how we and our work are developing so it made me think of how my work has changed over the last 5 years or so and how now all my work is mainly done on computers and using software.. whereas in my GCSE's and A Levels, we didn't have the software I have now so my work was a lot different. I was encouraged to paint and enjoyed using acylics and I have continued this throughout my work until I did my foundation course.. Here we had more equipment and better facilities so my work changed a bit because I do more. I did print making and I used computer software and stopped painting. Soo I tried to do it in my spare time, and would paint pictures for people as gifts for example. Now I try to keep painting but it is hard to find the time and space at university to do it.. So I thought I would show some of my work I have done in the past.. in our blogs we all talk about work we do now, and I don't know what anyone in my class used to do before university or anything. I'll tell you now what each image is..
